The English organist, musicologist and writer, WaIter (Henry James) Emery, studied organ at the Royal Academy of Music in London. He has been engaged as a church organist & choir master. From 1937 to 1969 he was an associate at Novello & Co. where he edited works of early music (mainly for organ).
