Nota:
A mid 18th- or early-19th-century manuscript containing six six sonatas for two violoncellos, with upper staff notated in alto clef. According to Elinor Frey, who inspected the manuscript in Autumn 2023, it is "not immediately appealing music, perhaps [by] an amateur. ... It’s pretty rare to have two-movement sonatas, they all end with the Rondeau (I would place it as German or French sort of "easy" sonata genre, Abel has some of these).
