'Neueröffneter historischer Bildersaal' was a 17-vol. book series published between 1692 and 1782. Contains numerous engravings.
"About the history which took place under the reigning emperors Charles VI and Charles VII, from 1734 to 1743, especially in Europe, but also from time to time in the rest of the world and in the Church".
The target group was especially the youth, as can be seen from the title of the first edition: "Der Lehr-begierigen Jugend zu sonderbaren Nutzen und Erleuchterung also herausgegeben".
