Nota:
Violin part form dances taken from various nineteenth-century operas premiered at the Opéra, among others Meyerbeer's 'Il crociato in Egitto', Rossini's 'Moisé et Pharaon' and 'Le Siège de Corinthe', and Auber's 'Masaniello'. Other names attributed to some of the dances could be the composer's or even the choreographer's (F. de Hugonet, Mons. E. Sermont, Rigal, Mr. L.de B.). One of the dances possibly derives from Hérold ballet pantomime 'Astolphe et Joconde'.
The final page contains a five-bar fragment
