begins with a "Discourse of Severinus Sincerus, held in the Meeting of the Raisonnable Bibliographers, on the 20th of February, 1750, against Philippus Aletophilus, Raised Fellow, and Praesident of the Society of the Raisonnable Bibliographers, and Guardian of the Church. To which are added two letters, as well as an extract from the Acta, and a publication of the highly reputable Society of Biblical Accountants".The president of this society of wise Bible experts was the Lutheran pastor Philippus Ludovicus Statius Muller (alias Philippus Aletophilus).
