- A long-ago vist to the industrial town of Charleroi, Belgium. The sole splash of colour in a row of desolate terraced houses looking out onto a factory complex: a bright poster sellotaped to a window, advertising a concert by the amusingly-names Elvis Junior. Back home in Brussels, i couldn't shake the incongruity of the image from my mind and determined to track down this intruiging figure. I finally managed to do so and carried out an afternoon-long interview with him, extracts of which were published in the Brussels weekly magazine The Bulletin in 2001.
