Published on behalf of his widow and drafted by friends of the composer: Georg Johann Schinn (1768-1833) and Joseph Otter (around 1760-1836) - both his students - as well as Haydn's "most trusted" friend, P. Werigand Rettensteiner (1751-1822) from Michaelbeuern Abbey near Salzburg.
