a| Johann Lauremberg, also Johannes Lauremberg, occasionally incorrect: Johann Wilhelm Laurenberg (* 26 February 1590 in Rostock; † 28 February 1658 in Sorø, Denmark) was a mathematician and cartographer as well as a Low German poet and writer of the Baroque period. As a pseudonym he used the name "Hans Willmsen L. Rost." (= Johann, son of Wilhelm Lauremberg Rostochiensis).
