a| La Feillée, French botanist & abbot, was attached to the choir of Chartres Cathedral, in the mid 18th Century. By 1745, he was a composer and "theorist" at the Poitiers Cathedral. We owe him an abridged antiphonary, published in Paris by Hérissant in 1751, this manual of plainchant and some compositions.
