a| Samuel Arnold had his pasticcio "Redemption", composed largely of Handel works, premiered in 1786. However, it was probably not printed until years later, because Arnold used printing plates for this that he had had made for his Handel Complete Edition (1787-1797). Included are edited excerpts from the "Occasional Oratorio" (4 x), from "Samson", "Jephtha", "Semele", "Saul" (4 x), "Joseph", "Judas Maccabaeus" (2 x), "Israel in Egypt" (5 x), "Joshua" (2 x), "Esther" (2 x), "Theodora", the "Funeral Anthem", the "Utrecht Jubilate" (2 x), as well as from the operas "Ezio", "Sosarme", "Siroe", "Deidamia" and "Rodelinda".
