a| Among Garaudé's pupils, Clotilde Colombelle (1804-1826) was, on the one hand, a singer much appreciated in Italy under the name of Coreldi, and, on the other hand, the mother of his two (illegitimate) sons, Alexis Albert Gauthier Colombelle (1821-1854), known as Garaudé fils, winner in 1840 and 1841 of the Prix de Rome for composition, and Charles Gabriel Sylvestre Colombelle (1823-?), also a musician.
