a| Modeled after the French 'Almanach des Muses' (see 09A29, 11A07 and 1B19), the 'Musen-Almanach' was founded in Göttingen in 1770 (see H1-019-20). Johann Heinrich Voß (1751-1826) became its editor in 1774, but in 1775 founded his own almanac in Hamburg.
