Since the very beginning at the Galleria Speciale in Bari, in the early 80s, this is the story of an extraordinary experience of joint creation, that in many different ways has brought together some of the most creative things of that period, in the fields of arts and design, from Andrea and Nicoletta Branzi to Alessandro Mendini, Meret Oppenheim, Mario Merz, Ugo Marano, Nanda Vigo, Gianni Pettena and many others. This is also the story of the successful relationship that Tarshito had always enjoyed with his main collaborations, namely the craftsmen, working in Southern Italy or as far away as India. It is with them that every project has found its shape and substance. Forerunner of a creative fusion between East and West, between daily functions and rituals, between art, design and architecture. Tarshito has always pursued his endeavour with extraordinary coherence, never subject to any fashion.
